Choose something else

I purchased and read this entire book because my best friend told me it was excellent and he really enjoyed it. Because he’s my best friend, I took him at his word, and despite the slow laborious process of finishing this book, I believed the whole time that it would eventually get better. It did not. That’s worth stating twice. It did not. This book reads like it was written by a junior high student. I was so disappointed when the book continued to disappoint throughout. I would only recommend this book to those who are under the age of 12. If you are an adult considering this book, I highly recommend that you choose something else.

Hxhdns zmdmxmak

I loved it!!

There was so much action and it kept you on your toes. It’s one of the only books I’ve fully enjoyed:)

Heetee22

Abosultely AMAZING!!!

I am extremely picky about what I read, and I read this book in less than a week. It’s an awesome read! So much excitement, and it seems as if the suspense never ends. Mild short breathers of some drama, but just wow! Incredibly impressed. I can’t wait to read the rest in the series! 15/10 recommend! (yes you read that correctly hahaha)

yeetbooksgood

It Good

It was gooood. I like. Want to read mistborn soon.

wildchild2644

Loved it!

That was a wild ride! I love Sanderson. He never disappoints, knows how to keep the suspense, and readers fully engaged in the story. Definitely one of the best 👍👍🔥🔥

Jellly&Beann

Fantastic Read

I really enjoyed this book. It had lots of good plot twists and some beautifully written action scenes. If you enjoyed this I recommend Renegades which is quite similar to Steelheart. You could almost imagine them happening in the same world and place...

guza1212

🤩Amazing

The best book in the world🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Wyshmasta

Wow!

Easily one of my most favorite reads of my lifetime

DatSawgDaddy

Decent book, would not recommend

I am a massive fan of Brandon Sanderson. The Mistborn series and the stormlight archives are some of the best books I've ever read. This is, by far and above, the worst book I've ever read by him. Read this if you love 2-dimensional characters, bad plot, etc

Dwest42...)$

Great read!!!

I was recommended this book by a friend and after reading it, I was intrigued to read more of the author that I didn't know about prior to reading this book. Since then, I have read the entire calamity series and even more works of his and I highly recommend checking those books out as well!

Midnighters

Really?

I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them immensely. After seeing the praise it received, and knowing I have liked his writing in the past, I thought I would give it a go! How wrong I was. It is almost painful to read! Little character depth, terrible dialogue, and reads like an 8th grade writing assignment. I don't believe for a second Patrick Rothfuss seriously thoughtthis was a good book? Is this a pen name for Stephanie Meyer? Someone explain this crap!

jjwatts329

Steelheart

Amazing and full of surprises. A great read for anyone!

Vp202

The best i read it over summer 2015

Its the best 5 star you will love i recommend this book for you. Its not a dumb comic its not about the apocalypse its about super humans who are evil

ManuCR18

Just Read It!

If you like Patrick Rothfuss this is a highly recomended author! None of my friends knew about him, perhaps is the fact I live in Costa Rica, but we love his great combination between imaginary worlds, mistery, action and good narrative skills.

KCDLA

Truly Epic

I picked up Steelheart because the cover interested me. Now that I've finished it, I can easily say it is one of the best books I have ever read. Brandon Sanderson created an amazing world and fills it with interesting characters. Also...the twist! That is all.

AWESOME, just AWESOME

It was one of the nicest books I've ever read! Sanderson really did it this time!

330Teller

A must read!!!

What a fantastic book. I couldn't put the book down once I started. This is a must read.

Best book ever

No book is quite like this book. I've almost cryed because of it and I've almost screamed because of the book

Colinalcarz

Steeleheart

Although I've never liked Sanderson's odd verbiage, such as saying "regardless" instead of "besides" or "anyway;" or saying "seeing as to" instead of "since,"I love the fun in providing a narrative voice with deliberate foibles most often in the form of a self-acknowledged ineptitude with metaphors. I also like how Sanderson doesn't get bogged down with trying to make powers or magic seem plausible or worrying if his plots seem too derivative of the x-men say. He progresses at a rollicking pace that never fails to engage. He also inspires as again we are immersed in a world where a "crew" of underestimated but extraordinarily capable, determined and likable "Everymen" fight against incredible odds and win. Of course at least one will have an interesting accent as well!

Will4444444

Definitely Young Adult

I'm about 200 pages in, this book is definitely best for teens. The writing is pretty simple, the characters are two dimensional, and while there are some good ideas, nothing is really fleshed out. The main character suffers from Captain Kirk syndrome, he's never wrong, for example. Lots of stuff happens and characters take actions without any real reason. Mostly things happen because the story needs it to, not out of any organic character growth. Pass if you're over the age of 25. Oh, and the constant streets named after superhero creators gets a little annoying

None12300

Enjoyable

Did not hold my attention as some books do. Took me several weeks to finish. I enjoyed the last few chapters the most, so I glad that I kept going back to the book.

Bendogw

Best book ever.

This is one of the best books I have ever read in my life. Highly recommended by me and many others. Thanks for the GREAT book Brandon Sanderson. Can't wait till firefight comes out!!!!!!

davidrcallahan

Must read!

Caught my attention in the first chapter and kept it till the end!

Covenant series

Steelheart

This was a fun, short read from Sanderson. A good diversion while I wait for the next book after The Way of Kings to be published. Steelheart was good comic book fun!

aalkadri

Impressive!

Perfect pace, great characters, and nice storytelling. Steelheart clearly connects with our dearly Man of Steel (or, for me, Black Adam) very well, and although the idea isn't too original, it doesn't take the fun from reading it. Once again, it's impressive.

virtualshift

Brandon Sanderson has done it again!

He once again proven himself to be one of the greatest all-time offers I ever read.

SpiffyWendigo

Better then I had hoped

It was an interesting idea for a story, and when Sanderson hits his stride the story really pops. There are some stretches where things are a little off, but overall I thought it was a quick, entertaining read. I'd recommend it, and am looking forward to the sequel.

Reviewer110167o

OMG. BEST BOOK EVER!! Sure to leave you hanging on the edge! YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS!!!

jnoro

LOVE LOVE LOVE the book

First book that I have read of Brandon. The plot and the ending were amazing. Can't wait for the sequel.

Gide0n

Excellent!

I only wish this were an adult book. Seems to only be missing some grit for my taste. Nonetheless, a clever premise and a lot of fun. Highly recommended.

Marklarr42

Great book

You won't regret getting this, full of suspense and action

GargoyleBlue

AMAZING

An utterly brilliant read. I thought this would make a great movie before I made it to the end. Hope that comes true!

Hsykiss

Much like Mistborn

Good overall. Read a lot like Mistborn team of people trying to take down a super bad guy. Kind of short.

Benjamin Anderson

Endings give me chills

Brandon Sanderson always has the best endings. I've read every single one of his books and they never stop amazing me. He is by far my favorite author and this book lives up to that.

Koroem

So great!

Love Brandon's work, and this is one of his best!

Lily Ballard

Sanderson has done it again

Once more, Brandon Sanderson has written a fantastic book. Once I started reading last night I simply couldn't put it down until it was finished.

That was a wild ride! I love Sanderson. He never disappoints, knows how to keep the suspense, and readers fully engaged in the story. Definitely one of the best 👍👍🔥🔥

Fantastic Read

I really enjoyed this book. It had lots of good plot twists and some beautifully written action scenes. If you enjoyed this I recommend Renegades which is quite similar to Steelheart. You could almost imagine them happening in the same world and place...

Steelheart

Amazing and full of surprises. A great read for anyone!

Vp202

The best i read it over summer 2015

Its the best 5 star you will love i recommend this book for you. Its not a dumb comic its not about the apocalypse its about super humans who are evil

Just Read It!

If you like Patrick Rothfuss this is a highly recomended author! None of my friends knew about him, perhaps is the fact I live in Costa Rica, but we love his great combination between imaginary worlds, mistery, action and good narrative skills.

Best book ever

No book is quite like this book. I've almost cryed because of it and I've almost screamed because of the book

Sanderson has done it again

Once more, Brandon Sanderson has written a fantastic book. Once I started reading last night I simply couldn't put it down until it was finished.
